Details: I was approached by my friend Dave at the Black Numbers who asked me to handle this layout. I was given very little as far as assets so after staring at this illustration of two wolves, and a painting as inspiration, I decided to combine them, using the wolves as a mask with the painting. The whole thing was balanced very well, but I still needed to add the title of the record. I really didn’t want to give up any space on the front so all parties agreed that a sticker on the outside of the shrinkwrap with Roger’s name and the record title would be the way we handled it, so people knew what they were buying in record stores. This was printed on reverse-board jackets.
