Details: I love working collaboratively. Part of it comes with the feeling of not failing by yourself, but also working with someone else who shares a similar vision to you and the end result is the best feeling. That’s why when my friend Cayetano Valenzuela approached me about helping him with this record. When he approached me, I didn’t think it was going to be on a larger indie label. We had worked together on this group’s previous records and it just seemed like we were picking up where we left off.
The concept for the illustration came from the band, and Cayetano handled that. I wanted this image wrapped around the entire packaging so I made sure that it carried over to the back panel.
For the record, I had not part in this video, it was just a good excuse to show some of the other materials that went behind the promotion of the record.
