During my tenure at the SUNY Oswego Lifestyles department, I created a lot presentation work, and some fun one-off branding exercises. This was the one that I was most proud of, just because it was the most complete branding exercise that I explored. The only mission of this campaign was to get the word out that as of 2014, you are no longer allowed to smoke on campus property. First, we started with a logo.
A few different names were considered. Personally I was a fan of the top treatment, but ultimately the treatment with the scissors was chosen. I was able to fit in some subtle nods to one of my favorite illustrators Ray Pettibon:
